SMTP credential disclosure via plaintext settings DOM

Credential disclosure in AVTECH Room Alert 4E firmware 4.4.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to obtain stored SMTP passwords. The authenticated SMTP settings page loads a previously saved password into the browser DOM and sends the credentials back to the device in plaintext when settings are saved. Administrative device access is required, and the exposed data is limited to SMTP credentials stored in the device settings.

What happened
