Database read and modification via unescaped jet_id
Published Apr 5, 2024 · Updated Feb 27, 2025
SQL injection in SourceCodester Airline Ticket Reservation System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter database data through jet_id. The handler trims the POST value and interpolates it directly into an UPDATE statement without parameterization or escaping. The public proof uses a logged-in PHP session; independent unauthenticated reachability is not established, and the injected UPDATE can alter jet activation records.
