Browser script execution via unneutralized typeid input
Published Apr 30, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Cross-site scripting in DedeCMS 5.7.113 allows remote attackers to execute browser script through typeid in makehtml_list_action.php. The handler places attacker-controlled typeid content into generated HTML without neutralizing executable markup before the response is rendered. Exploitation requires a victim to render the crafted response, bounding impact to script actions available in that victim's browser session.
