CVE-2024-3331Network attack vector

NTLM token disclosure via crafted evalREX script

Published Jun 27, 2024 · Updated Mar 2, 2026

Improper authorization in affected Spotfire products allows remote authenticated users to leak the process user's NTLM token. A crafted untrusted TERR script abuses the sandboxed evalREX function to initiate authentication to an attacker-controlled server. Exploitation requires permission to submit the script and user interaction that executes it; exposure is limited to the privileges of the affected process account.
