Unauthenticated emergency-contact modification via unchecked user targeting
Published Apr 30, 2024 · Updated Aug 15, 2024
Authorization failure in TVS Connect Android 4.5.1 and iOS 5.0.0 allows remote attackers to add or delete another user's emergency contacts. The Emergency Contact workflow accepts add and delete operations targeting an arbitrary user without an enforced ownership check. The claim requires network access to the application's backend and is disputed by evidence asserting that the listed builds do not exhibit the behavior.
