Stored script execution via unsanitized subject fields
Published Apr 5, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in SourceCodester eLearning System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run script in an administrator's browser. The Add Subject workflow stores crafted Subject Code or Description values without neutralizing HTML and renders them on the administrator subject page. Administrative access is required to submit the payload, and execution occurs when that subject page is visited within the application's browser origin.
