Authenticated script execution via reflected page parameter
Published Apr 5, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Reflected XSS in SourceCodester eLearning System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via the page parameter. The admin routing endpoint reflects the page query value into its response without neutralizing script markup, so a crafted URL runs attacker-supplied JavaScript in a visitor's browser. An authenticated user must induce another user to open the crafted admin URL; execution is limited to that user's web session and can alter page content.
