Administrator code execution via preview template evaluation
Published May 15, 2024 · Updated Aug 16, 2024
Code injection in SailPoint Identity Security Cloud allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to execute code on the host. The Transform preview and IdentityProfile preview API endpoints execute user-defined templates during attribute transforms without safely constraining template code. Administrator privileges and access to either preview API are required; successful exploitation executes code on the service host.
