CVE-2024-33113Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Account-data disclosure via forged getcfg service variables

Published May 6, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Information disclosure in D-Link DIR-845L 1.01KRb03 and earlier allows remote attackers to read router account data via a crafted request. The getcfg.php endpoint accepts newline-delimited control variables that select DEVICE.ACCOUNT and set AUTHORIZED_GROUP to 1, causing protected account configuration to be returned. Network access to the router's HTTP service is required; exploitation reads account configuration without altering router settings.
