Information disclosure via ML IE buffer over-read
Published Oct 7, 2024 · Updated Oct 7, 2024
Buffer over-read in Qualcomm Snapdragon WLAN Host Communication allows remote attackers to disclose memory through crafted ML IEs. The parser reads beyond the available buffer while processing the BSS parameter change count or MLD capabilities fields. Exploitation requires unauthenticated network input that reaches the affected WLAN parser; Qualcomm has not disclosed a more specific frame path.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
