Memory corruption via unchecked log redirection path
Published Oct 7, 2024 · Updated Oct 7, 2024
Memory corruption in Qualcomm WLAN Resource Manager allows remote attackers to corrupt memory through crafted log redirection. The log-redirection handler accepts an arbitrary file location and file name without adequate validation before memory-sensitive processing. No authentication or user interaction is required; Qualcomm has not disclosed whether the resulting corruption reliably enables code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
