Server crash via gateway command processing
Published May 14, 2024 · Updated Sep 26, 2024
Out-of-bounds write in SAP Replication Server 16.0, 16.0.3, and 16.0.4 allows remote authenticated users to crash the server. Gateway command processing for the RSSD writes outside an intended memory boundary, corrupting Replication Server memory. A highly privileged account must reach the network service; the documented consequence is a service crash, with no confidentiality or integrity impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
