CVE-2024-33004

Sensitive-data exposure via post-logout page caching

Published May 14, 2024 · Updated Sep 28, 2024

Insecure caching in SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform Webservices 430 and 440 allows physically proximate attackers to reopen pages. Dynamic web pages remain in the client-side cache after logout instead of being invalidated or marked to prevent reuse. Physical access to the same client is required, enabling limited viewing and reopening of sensitive cached content after the authenticated session ends.
