Unauthenticated baseband service interruption
Published May 11, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Improper input validation in the baseband module of affected Huawei HarmonyOS and EMUI releases allows remote attackers to interrupt service. Affected releases are HarmonyOS 2.0.0, 2.1.0, 3.0.0, 4.0.0, and 4.2.0, and EMUI 12.0.0, 13.0.0, and 14.0.0; Huawei has not published which parser, message field, or invalid value reaches the failure path. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the reported consequence is limited to availability; Huawei does not state whether the failure causes a hang, crash, or reboot.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
