Code injection in PWAsForFirefox before 2.12.0 allows remote attackers to execute code through malicious web app metadata. Unescaped newlines in names, descriptions, or shortcuts become additional XDG Desktop Entry or AppInfo.ini keys, including Exec. Execution requires an affected Linux or PortableApps.com installation and installation and launch of the malicious web app.
