Stored cross-site scripting in Silverstripe Framework before 5.2.16 allows remote authenticated users to inject JavaScript through CMS content. HTMLEditorSanitiser checks src, href, and data attributes for javascript: but fails to reject data:text/html payloads, including base64-encoded HTML. Regular CMS content-editing permission is required, and the stored script executes in the CMS or site front end when the crafted content is rendered.
