CVE-2024-32955Network attack vector

Authenticated network probing via video URL checks

Published Apr 24, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

SSRF in FolioVision FV Flowplayer Video Player 7.5.43.7212 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to probe network services via video URLs. The plugin's server-side video duration checker requests user-supplied media URLs without adequately restricting destination ports, enabling port scanning from the WordPress host. A logged-in account is required, and the demonstrated consequence is indirect disclosure of network-service reachability from the server's network position.
