Unauthenticated log disclosure via direct file access
Published Apr 24, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Sensitive information exposure in Tribulant Software Newsletters 4.9.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to read the plugin log over HTTP. The plugin stores diagnostic data in a log file under its web-accessible directory without access-control rules that block direct requests. No authentication is required; exposure depends on the log containing sensitive data, and disclosure is limited to that file.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
