CVE-2024-32937Network attack vector

Root command execution via unfiltered timezone value

Published Jul 3, 2024 · Updated Nov 4, 2025

OS command injection in Grandstream GXP2135 firmware 1.0.9.129, 1.0.11.74, and 1.0.11.79 allows attackers to execute commands. The gs_cpe set_selfdefinedtimezone_value function inserts the unfiltered SelfDefinedTimeZone value into an echo command passed to system() as root. Exploitation requires control of the CWMP Auto Configuration Server through web configuration or network-level DNS, DHCP, or man-in-the-middle manipulation.
