CVE-2024-32925Network attack vector

Remote code execution via WLAN bounds-check omission

Published Jun 13, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Out-of-bounds write in Android WLAN kernel code allows remote attackers to execute code via unspecified network input. The dhd_prot_txstatus_process function in dhd_msgbuf.c processes transmit-status data without a required bounds check and writes beyond the destination buffer. Successful exploitation requires no privileges or user interaction and permits code execution in the affected WLAN kernel context.
