Remote information disclosure via unchecked call-waiting data
Published Jun 13, 2024 · Updated Mar 13, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Android's Exynos RIL allows remote attackers to disclose information through crafted call-waiting data. ProtocolCdmaCallWaitingIndAdapter::GetCwInfo() reads the supplied data without first checking its bounds. Exploitation requires prior baseband firmware compromise but no user interaction, and the resulting access is limited to information disclosure.
