An out-of-bounds write in Android's BCMFASTPATH WLAN code allows local users to escalate privileges without user interaction. The BCMFASTPATH path in dhd_msgbuf.c omits a bounds check before writing data into a destination buffer. Exploitation requires local code execution on a supported Pixel device and can raise the executing user's privileges; Google has not published the triggering input or resulting privilege level.
