Type confusion in the Goodix kernel component in Google Android allows local users to escalate privileges without user interaction. The handle_init function in goodix/main/main.c accesses a resource through an incompatible type, causing memory corruption. Local low-privileged access is required; successful exploitation gains higher privileges on affected Pixel devices without user interaction.
