Deserialization of untrusted data in Team NewPipe NewPipe 0.13.4 through 0.26.1 allows attackers to execute code via a malicious backup. The backup importer passes the settings entry from the backup ZIP to Java ObjectInputStream without restricting deserializable classes, enabling a gadget class already present in the app to run code. Exploitation requires a user to import an attacker-controlled backup and can expose or modify NewPipe data, invoke Android APIs, or crash the app.
