Authenticated SQL execution via modified API requests
Published Apr 24, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in Umbraco Workflow before 10.3.9, before 12.2.6, and before 13.0.6 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL. A Backoffice API endpoint accepts SQL added to a modified request and passes it to the server for execution; the endpoint and code locus are undisclosed. A highly privileged Backoffice account is required, and exploitation permits limited data disclosure and high-impact data modification without reported service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
