CVE-2024-32808Network attack vector

Cross-account message disclosure via unchecked panel key

Published Apr 24, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

Authorization bypass in Metagauss ProfileGrid 5.7.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read other users' private messages. The pg_show_msg_panel() function accepts a user-controlled message-panel key without validating that the requested messages belong to the caller. Subscriber-level access is required, and the demonstrated consequence is cross-account message disclosure rather than message modification.
