CVE-2024-32759Network attack vector

Account compromise via installer weak credentials

Published Jul 10, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Use of weak credentials in the Software House C•CURE 9000 2.80 and earlier installer allows remote authenticated users to gain account access. Johnson Controls has not disclosed which credentials the installer creates or uses, how their strength is reduced, or which installation conditions trigger the behavior. Network reachability, low privileges, and those installation conditions are required; successful use exposes the affected account's authorized data and operations.
