CVE-2024-32735Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Managed-device credential disclosure via unauthenticated REST endpoint

Published May 9, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Missing authentication in CyberPower PowerPanel Enterprise before 2.8.3 allows remote attackers to read managed-device credentials via PDNU REST APIs. The PDNU devices endpoint on TCP port 8085 returns account names, encrypted passwords, and initialization vectors without verifying a session. No account or managed CyberPower device is required; a published static key decrypts the returned passwords, enabling access to managed devices.
