Stored script execution via unsanitized slider settings
Published Apr 24, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in GhozyLab Image Slider 1.1.125 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run scripts through crafted slider settings. The plugin fails to sanitize those settings and escape them when rendering a page, so attacker-controlled web scripts are stored and run in a visitor's browser. Exploitation requires Editor-level access or higher, a visitor to open the injected page, and either WordPress multisite or disabled unfiltered_html.
