Subscriber-level plugin activation or deactivation via missing authorization
Published Jun 9, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Missing authorization in ARForms 6.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to activate or deactivate WordPress plugins. The public CNA and Patchstack advisory do not identify the request handler or the omitted authorization check that permits the operation. Subscriber-level access is sufficient; changing plugin state can disable site functionality or enable already installed code, but no plugin installation is reported.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
