Authenticated option deletion via missing capability check
Published Jun 9, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Missing authorization in Repute InfoSystems ARForms 6.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete arbitrary WordPress options. The option-deletion handler acts on a requested option without verifying that the caller has the required WordPress capability. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and deletion of security- or site-critical options can alter configuration or interrupt the site.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
