Published Apr 25, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in mndpsingh287 Advanced Search 1.1.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries. The shortcode editor appends the List of Post Meta Keys value to an SQL query without proper escaping, allowing injected SQL functions to run. Administrator access and WordPress multisite mode are required; the published proof of concept demonstrates a ten-second database delay.
