Restricted-page disclosure via tag route authorization bypass
Published Dec 3, 2025 · Updated Dec 3, 2025
Incorrect authorization in affected Masa CMS releases allows remote attackers to read group-restricted pages by adding /tag/ to the URL. The tagArray branch in contentServer.cfc changes the display to search, while standardEventsHandler.cfc exempts search displays from its restriction login check. No account or interaction is required, but a group-restricted page URL must be known; only that page's contents are disclosed.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
