CVE-2024-3263Network attack vector

Unauthorized access via guessable identical credentials

Published May 13, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

Improper authentication in YMS VIS Pro 3.3.0.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to gain user access through brute-force login attempts. The login design uses the same publicly discoverable four-to-six-digit veterinary license identifier as both username and password, making credentials enumerable and guessable. Successful authentication exposes data and permits operations available to the compromised account's assigned permissions.
