Instruction-pointer corruption via unchecked free-list bounds

A heap buffer over-read in The HDF Group HDF5 through 1.14.3 allows local users to corrupt the instruction pointer via a crafted file. H5HL__fl_deserialize accepts a free-block offset inside the heap data block but reads two size fields without ensuring both fields fit. Exploitation requires affected software to parse attacker-controlled local-heap metadata; the resulting corruption can crash the process, while code execution depends on host exploitability.
