Authenticated database access via unsanitized activity identifier
Published Apr 3, 2024 · Updated Feb 27, 2025
SQL injection in SourceCodester Internship Portal Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter database data. The admin/edit_activity.php handler interpolates the activity_id request value directly into a quoted SELECT statement without validation or parameterization. An administrative login is required; crafted values produce error-based and time-based database responses and expose application data.
