CVE-2024-32482

RAM disclosure via inconsistent signing message length

Published Apr 23, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Out-of-bounds read in Tillitis TKey device signer before 1.0.0 allows local users to disclose RAM data through a custom USB client. A CMD_SET_SIZE race rejects an oversized replacement but retains the new signing length while the remaining-byte counter keeps the prior value, causing adjacent RAM bytes to enter the signed message. Exploitation requires control of a custom client and physical touch of the TKey; Tillitis-built binaries expose nonsensitive RAM, not secret keys.
