Stored XSS via inline event-handler interpolation
Published Apr 22, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored XSS in LibreNMS before 24.4.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript when another user deletes a service template. The service-template view places the attacker-controlled template name inside inline onclick arguments, allowing quotes in the name to become executable script. Low-privileged access is required to create the template, and a second user must activate its delete control; the script then runs in that user's browser session.
