Permission prompt bypass in Deno before 1.42.2 allows local users to execute actions outside the runtime permission policy. The prompter flushes standard input before reading a decision, but delayed ANSI replies from a VTE terminal can arrive afterward and inject an affirmative byte. A malicious Deno program must run in an interactive VTE-based terminal, and the user must press Enter after the payload triggers.
