Application crash via recursive object-stream loop

Uncontrolled recursion in Xpdf 4.05 and earlier allows attackers to crash the application by processing a crafted PDF object stream. The object-stream parser recursively resolves a cyclic object graph without terminating, exhausting the process stack. Triggering the flaw requires Xpdf to process the crafted file and affects availability without reported data disclosure or modification.
