Cross-site scripting via malformed per_page parameter
Published Jul 10, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Decidim before 0.27.6 and 0.28.0.rc1 through 0.28.0 allows remote attackers to execute script via per_page. Pagination output for searches and filters fails to neutralize a malformed per_page query value before incorporating it into the returned page. No authentication is required, but a user must open the crafted URL; execution can expose browser-accessible data or act in that user's session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
