Balance modification via missing AJAX nonce validation
Published Apr 15, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in AWP Classifieds 4.3.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to edit account balances via forged requests. The plugin's ajax() function accepts a balance-changing request without valid nonce verification, allowing the victim's browser to submit the state change. Exploitation requires an attacker to induce a logged-in site administrator to open a crafted link, and the reported consequence is limited to balance modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
