Code execution via unchecked addon creation
Published Apr 22, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Improper access control in Flusity CMS 2.33 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code through add_addon.php. The endpoint accepts an ordinary user's request and performs the administrator-only addon creation action without enforcing authorization. An ordinary authenticated account is the demonstrated gate, and successful addon creation leads to server-side code execution.
