Traffic interception and modification via HTTP-only interface
Published Dec 1, 2025 · Updated Dec 1, 2025
Cleartext transmission in the KerOS web interface before 5.10 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to intercept and modify traffic. The gateway serves management sessions exclusively over HTTP and provides no HTTPS transport to protect requests or responses. Exploitation requires access to the client-to-gateway network path and user interaction with the web interface; confidentiality and integrity are affected, but service availability is not.
