CVE-2024-32355Public exploit

Authenticated command execution via setSSServer password

Published May 14, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025

Command injection in TOTOLINK X5000R Firmware 9.1.0cu.2350_B20230313 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. The setSSServer handler in /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi passes shell metacharacters from the password field into command execution without neutralization. Access to the router's management interface and a valid session token are required; successful exploitation runs attacker-chosen commands on the appliance.
