Stored script execution via unsanitized page content
Published Apr 17, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in BoidCMS 2.1.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary script in a visitor's browser via page content. The administrative Create Page flow stores the Content parameter without neutralizing active HTML or script and later renders it when the new page is opened. Exploitation requires access to the Create flow and a user opening the created page; execution remains confined to the visitor's browser context.
