Stored script execution via unsanitized access-control comments
Published Apr 18, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored XSS in the Wireless Access Control page of TOTOLINK N300RT Firmware allows remote attackers to run scripts in a visitor's browser. The page stores the Comment field without neutralizing HTML and renders it for later visitors, causing event-handler JavaScript to execute. No authentication is required to submit the value, but a user must open the affected page, exposing data and actions available to that browser session.
