CVE-2024-32333Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Stored XSS via unescaped MAC-filter comments

Published Apr 18, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Stored XSS in TOTOLINK N300RT 2.1.8 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript via a MAC-filter comment. The firmware stores the Comment input without neutralizing it and inserts it into the MAC Filtering page, where the browser executes supplied markup. An authenticated management user must save the payload, and a later visit to either the allow-list or deny-list view triggers it.
