Authenticated browser script execution via unescaped Wi-Fi key
Published Apr 18, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Cross-site scripting in TOTOLINK EX200 V4.0.3c.7646_B20201211 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a browser. The setWiFiExtenderConfig function accepts a script-bearing key value in Repeater Setting and renders it as executable JavaScript without neutralization. A logged-in user must submit the value and a browser must process the affected page; the demonstrated consequence is browser-side script execution.
