Browser script execution via unsanitized SSID input
Published Apr 18, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Cross-site scripting in TOTOLINK EX200 4.0.3c.7646_B20201211 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through the extender SSID. The setWiFiExtenderConfig function accepts the ssid parameter without neutralizing script markup, and the management page renders and executes the value. Administrative access is required to submit the value, and a subsequent page load triggers script execution within the management interface's browser context.
